New Restaurant Inspired By International Street Food Opening In Union County
Bold flavors with modern takes on classic Chinese food will be available, the restaurant said.

SPRINGFIELD, NJ — A new Shanghai-style restaurant is on its way to Springfield.
"Ugly Dumpling," with specialties that include dumplings, soups, and boba tea, will be opening its second spot in Union County. The chain's Linden location at 661 W Edgar Rd. opened in February.
Listed just as "coming soon," the Springfield restaurant will be located at 140 Route 22 W.

Along with the namesake dumplings, the menu is filled with wok-fired classics, themed cocktails, and desserts. You can even add a side of soy garlic wings to your favorite bowl of noodles.

Diners can choose between traditional seating, bar seating, and ordering their food to-go.
Locations in Morris Plains and Delran are slated to be the fifth and sixth locations, also listed as "coming soon," in the Garden State.
