A nine-hour SWAT team standoff ended Sunday morning after a 37-year-old man died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

A nine-hour SWAT team standoff in Roselle Park ended Sunday morning after the 37-year-old man who locked himself inside a Sherman Avenue home died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to police.
Portions of Sherman Avenue were blocked off by Roselle Park police and members of the Union County SWAT team from Saturday night until Sunday morning, but were completely reopened by noon, according to nj.com.
