The following was submitted by Saint James the Apostle School: On October 30, 2013, Saint James the Apostle in Springfield hosted US Diplomat Patricia Guy for a presentation on the United States Foreign Service. Ms. Guy spoke to students in 5th through 8th grade regarding her background and experiences as a diplomat and the various jobs and job opportunities in the Foreign Service. Ms. Guy's most recently held position was a Public Affairs Counselor at the US Embassy in Bucharest, Romania. The assembly was sponsored by the school's Institute for International Understanding.  The photos show Ms. Guy as well as members of the school's Institute for International Understanding along with moderator, Mr. John Prescott.
