What they are saying: Went in for lunch on a whim today and was pleasantly surprised. Place is very clean & friendly. It has a free parking lot adjacent to the bldg which is always very nice.I had the # 7 Philadelphia grilled panini which included roast beef caramelized onions cheddar cheese and chipotle sauce on a flatbread. Extremely tasty and comes with a side of potato chips.They have a varied menu and I look forward to going back and trying different items including their Jewish dishes! Nice stop!

What they are saying: Such a great little hole in the wall Mexican joint. I took everyone's advice and ordered the chorizo nachos - they are just as good as everyone says. Do yourself a favor, try them out. The crumbled spicy chorizo is divine. I found myself wishing I had gotten chorizo in my main meal as well. I wound up getting a shrimp burrito, which was also yummy.

What they are saying: I grew up going to this restaurant so when I came back to Springfield for the first time in 13 years I was thrilled to hear it was still around. I was even more thrilled when the food was as good as I remembered!Plus the people were super sweet and the service was great from the moment we were first greeted to the moment they said goodbye.I ordered the vegetarian crispy duck pancakes and the eggplant in garlic sauce and would definitely order the same again. It's rare to find great veggie options so this was a home run for me.

I had the crispy duck in red curry (*so* good), my wife had excellent pad thai, and our friends said their dishes were excellent also. And nice *soft* music in the background, not caterwauling pop like the other Thai place down the road.

What they are saying: This is an excellent Italian restaurant right in the heart of Springfield. My family and I asked to rent the restaurant out to host a repast, with only two days notice. Not only was the manager on site Jason over accommodating, he was also very kind and hospitable while taking our appointment down.During the evening of service Jason was again the manager on site and oversaw a staff who were both patient yet attentive to all of my guest's requests. By the end of the evening all of my family and friends could not stop applauding the service and quality of food displayed by Jason and staff.I highly recommend Sofia's for quality food to account for large party requests. Thank you again.

What they are saying: Came for dinner again on Friday night. They had a live jazz band, which I wasn't expecting, and they were really good. They did a high school reunion while the band was playing and although the place was packed there was still a good flow of people so you didn't feel over crowded.I posted pictures of my dinner. I ordered the prime rib dinner with mashed and asparagus. It was served with soup or salad and I chose the chicken soup, and the person I was with ordered the stuffed burger which is stuffed with cheddar cheese and bacon. Dessert we had a cookie sundae.Our dinners were really good. My prime rib dinner was cooked perfectly. The stuffed burger- I took a bite of it because they insisted that I should and again it was really good.The cookie sundae is served in a small cast iron pan, freshly baked to order, with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, and whipped cream. This dessert is to die for. Amazing and definitely worth trying on your next visit.
