9 New Businesses That Opened In Summit In 2022

SUMMIT, NJ — From new bakeries to new beauty salons and workout studios, 2022 was a successful year for new businesses in Downtown Summit.

Not only has Summit seen a decrease in store vacancies this year, but it was also named as one of the 2021 Great Places In New Jersey for its lively shopping and restaurant scene.

Now that the year is coming to a close, let's look back at nine new businesses that opened up this past year in Summit:

1. Gregorys Coffee Makes Summit Debut

The long-awaited Gregorys Coffee finally opened on Tuesday, May 10 in Downtown Summit. Gregorys is a New York-based coffee shop that will now open a Summit location at 342 Springfield Avenue. This is the chain's third location in New Jersey, with its two other spots in Jersey City.
