Thousands Without Power In Union County: See Estimated Restoration Times
More than 3,500 customers were without power at one point on Friday.
UNION COUNTY, NJ — More than 3,500 residents are without power Friday afternoon across the county.
First Energy said 3,338 of its customers are without service. The provider said it anticipates restoration to take place between 7 and 7:30 p.m.

Another 220 Public Service Electric & Gas users also don't have power.
The estimated restoration for those properties affected is 7:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.

While a severe thunderstorm warning was issued for the area, the causes of the outages are yet to be confirmed.
