A 'Tropical Night' Comes To MONDO Summit This Saturday
Plus, the Summit Free Public Library is hosting a children's event Friday morning.

Here's what you need to know today:
Summit Free Public Library will host “Digging into the Past with Dr. G” from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Children can explore ancient world history with crafts, demonstrations and writing activities.
Get ready to baile con fuego at Tropical Nights at MONDO, an evening of interactive music and Latin dancing Saturday from 7:30-11 p.m. in its Brownstone Theater, 426 Springfield Ave. in downtown Summit. The event, presented by TEATRO Si in association with MONDO and the SunRex Events Group, brings in dance teachers to get you moving with salsa, rumba, cha-cha, merengue, mambo and more. Some event proceeds will go toward the purchase of materials and plantings for a planned refurbishment of the Summit Promenade Park.
