Check Out These Summit Restaurants Serving Easter, Passover Specials

SUMMIT, NJ — As both Easter and Passover are quickly approaching this April, some Summit restaurants are offering special menu items in honor of the holidays.

From traditional Easter offerings like roasted ham to classic Passover foods like matzo ball soup, Summit locals can find a variety of holiday-themed meals at their local restaurants.

Easter Sunday this year will be April 17. Passover begins Friday, April 15 and goes until Saturday, April 23.

Here's a list of some Summit restaurants offering specials for the holidays:

Piattino: A Neighborhood Bistro: 67 Union Place

This stone-fired pizza and Italian restaurant is featuring an Easter specials menu from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. this month.

The menu includes:

• Taylor Ham and Cheddar Carbonara — bucatini pasta, tomato jam and basil; $16
• Ricotta and Beet Toast — hard boiled egg, honey and basil; $16
• Eggplant and Egg Rollatini — scrambled eggs, mozzarella and marinara sauce; $15

The Meat House: 321 Springfield Avenue

This chain in Summit known for its meats is serving both Easter and Passover specials, according to an Instagram post.

Summit House: 395 Springfield Avenue

People can grab brunch at Summit House this year for Easter Sunday. The menu includes three courses with family-style dishes. An adult meal will cost $75 and a children's meal will cost $35, according to the restaurant's website.

Special menu items include a classic asparagus salad, Wester Ross salmon, steak & eggs, spring carrot cake and much more. The full menu can be found on Summit House's website.
