Designer Decor Store Opens Its Latest Location In Summit

SUMMIT, NJ - Ernesta, a custom home luxury rug decorating firm, is celebrating its new addition to the Summit community.

The company opened its doors in July, and specializes in individually tailored home interiors, service and craftmanship of high-quality wool, natural fiber and performance rugs. Summit now becomes the newest showroom in Ernesta's portfolio, joining the likes of the Upper East Side in New York City, Greenwich, Connecticut and Bethesda, Maryland all opening so far this year.

"We're thrilled to continue Ernesta's expansion with the opening of our Summit showroom," added Chief Sales Officer Jennifer Parker. "There's a strong demand we're seeing from both design professionals and homeowners for a better, more personalized rug-buying experience. We built Ernesta to fill that gap—blending elevated design with hands-on service and customization—and it's exciting to see that mission resonate as we grow our presence in key design-forward communities like Summit."

The showroom measures 1,390 square feet, and includes a lounge constructed for in-depth one-on-one consultation. The Summit location is open Monday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sundays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Customers can also request rug samples delivered to their homes, and will receive their custom-ordered rug in between two and four weeks.

Ernesta is a 2025 Good Housekeeping Home Renovation Award Winner, and was founded in 2023 by John Foley, co-founder of Peloton.
