Knead A Pick-Me-Up? BAKE Bakery Makes Grand Opening In Summit

From freshly-baked breads made on the daily to cannolis and a variety of pasties, the new bakery downtown has a lot to offer. (PHOTOS)

SUMMIT, NJ — From tiramisu to cannolis and freshly-made sourdough bread, BAKE Bakery is ready to serve it all to hungry Summit customers.

The new bakery on 383 Springfield Avenue made its debut in Downtown Summit on Friday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Mayor Nora Radest also joined the owners in welcoming BAKE to Summit.

According to the bakery's Instagram, they offer a variety of freshly-baked breads, including sourdough, Italian, Semolina and baguettes in all shapes in sizes. The breads are baked fresh daily.

BAKE also sells several different types of pastries – from classic chocolate chip cookies and danishes to unique treats like PB&J donuts, a seven-layer rainbow cake and Ragu Arancini.

The bakery also announced it is currently hiring for all open positions. They are looking for counter people, cake decorators, bakers and more. Applicants must be available on weekends.

Monday: Closed

Tuesday: 7AM–8PM

Wednesday: 7AM–8PM

Thursday: 7AM–8PM

Friday: 7AM–8PM

Saturday: 7AM–8PM

Sunday: 7AM–5PM
