Man Fatally Hit By NJ Transit Train In Union County
New Jersey Transit Police are investigating the death on Tuesday morning.

SUMMIT, NJ — An adult man was fatally hit by an NJ Transit train early Tuesday morning near Summit Station.
At around 1:28 a.m., the Morris & Essex Line train 6907, which left New York Penn Station at 12:34 a.m. and was scheduled to arrive in Dover at 2:13 a.m., hit and fatally injured an adult man near Summit Station, said a spokesman with NJ Transit.
There were no injuries reported to the about 50 customers or crew on board.
