Missing Penn State Student Found Dead Identified As Summit Native
The 19-year-old Penn State student was found dead a day after she was reported missing.
SUMMIT, NJ — The 19-year-old Penn State student from Summit who went missing Thursday was found dead by police on Friday.
Justine Gross of Summit was reported missing Thursday evening, and police found her body on Friday morning.
Penn State police released a statement saying, "Preliminary information available to investigators indicates the death to be accidental in nature — No further information is available for release at this time and will be provided as possible in the future."

Police did not say where her body was found or the circumstances of her death. They asked anyone who may have information regarding the incident to contact the State College Police Department at (814) 234-7150, by email or submit an anonymous tip through their website.
Gross was a graduate of Summit High School's class of 2020 and was in her third semester in the College of Liberal Arts at Penn State.
