Bilingual Buds Welcomes Educators from Shanghai
A group of Chinese educators recently completed a tour of the United States in an effort to gain insight into the current trends of American independent schools, including best practices and innovative teaching models. Among there stops was Bilingual Buds in Summit.

A Bronx man attempted to withdraw $4,000 from a Chase Bank in Cranford on May 14 by allegedly using a false identity.
Police were called to the South Avenue Chase around 3 p.m. when a teller noticed Erick Vargas, 27, behaving suspiciously, police said. Ptl. Nelso Hearns arrested Vargas and he was charged with forgery, impersonation, theft by deception and false government documents.

Nora Abelaziz, 23, of Springfield died Tuesday night after the motorcycle she was operating crashed in Franklin Township, according to a report by NJ.com.
Abelaziz was unresponsive when police arrived at 595 Weston Canal Road just before 7:30 p.m., Franklin Township Police Sgt. Phil Rizzo told NJ.com. Based on a preliminary investigation, police believe that the Kawasaki KLX110 motorcycle Abelaziz was operating was traveling on an unpaved portion of Weston Canal Road when it struck a nylon cord that ran adjacent to a paved driveway just before the 595 property.
