Sisters Bring New Cafe To Downtown Summit

This is their third location.

SUMMIT, NJ — A new juice bar and cafe opened on Oct. 15 in Downtown Summit.

Fresh Press Juice Co. is owned by sisters Deven and Lauren Burgio, and serves soup, bowls, smoothies, meals, and more. According to the business website, all products are 100% organic, vegan, and gluten-free.

Through the power of fruits and vegetables, the sisters said they "hope to share their love of juice and passion for a healthy lifestyle with others."

They add that, "The thought of changing other people's lives in such a natural, simple way" was what inspired them to open their first location in 2013 in Downtown Cranford.

The Summit location at 462 Springfield Ave. is their third location, joining the Cranford store and another in Bernardsville.

The official grand opening of Fresh Press is on Saturday.

Fresh Press Juice Co.'s hours are:

  • Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Sunday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
