Summit Is Offering A Free Thanksgiving Meal
The Summit Department of Community Programs is hosting a free Thanksgiving meal at the community center.
SUMMIT, NJ — The season of giving is here and The Summit Department of Community Programs is starting thing off with a free Thanksgiving meal at the community center.
The meal will be served on Thanksgiving Day from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Community Center on 100 Morris Ave. in Summit.
The catered meal will include roast turkey, traditional side dishes, pies, and other desserts, as well as coffee and beverage service. It is co-sponsored by FLAG of Summit, GRACE and Oakes Memorial Center. All members of the community are welcome.

Besides the holiday meal, the event will include a touch football game on Long Field, a Thanksgiving themed family movie, and arts and crafts for children. To attend, make a reservation online or call 908- 277-2932.
The Senior Connections Bus will provide transportation for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Please call 908-277-3932 to schedule transportation.
