Summit's World of Rock to Hold After-Storm Party
Local gym teacher and musician, Paul Fessock, invites the public to rock out at the Summit Promenade Thursday and Friday, from 12p.m. to 5p.m.
There's no school, no power and trick or treating is postponed until Saturday. What's a Summit kid to do?
"World if Rock is open but situation is tough for some!" said Paul Fessock, the Brayton school gym teacher and owner of Mondo Summit's World of Rock. How about kicking out the jams tomorrow and Friday with him at the Summit Promenade. "I will have instruments too if people want to Rock Out!" he told Patch.
Billed as an event to "have fun and blow off some steam," Fessock, who says he's been using his time off from school (Summit public schools have been closed all week) he'll be on hand no only to rock, but to offer "free advice" from 12p.m. to 5p.m. The party continues Friday with an admission-based open mic and karaoke hang-out from 6:30p.m. to 9:30p.m. at the World of Rock headquarters inside Mondo Summit.
