Summit's Greenmarket Will Be Open Thursday Afternoon

Here's what you need to know today:

Summit's "Greatest Float Night Ever Again" will take place in the Family Aquatic Center, located at 100 Ashwood Ave., on Thursday. The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and the rain date is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 22.

Summit’s Summer Greenmarket will be open this Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m. on Beechwood Road between Bank Street and Springfield Avenue. This market features 13 farmers and purveyors, and will be open through Sept. 12. Check summitdowntown.org for a complete list of farmers and purveyors. Summit's Municipal Court will convene this Thursday in City Hall, located at 512 Springfield Ave. The court will be in session from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Public Defender on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, except Aug. 28 and Nov. 27, 2013.
