'Welcome Back Summit' Downtown Music, Business Festival Hits Streets This Weekend

More than 10 locations across the city will also be hosting live music throughout the weekend.

SUMMIT, NJ - The City of Summit is celebrating the beginning of the fall months and a new school year this weekend with an outdoor music festival.

"Welcome Back Summit" brings more than two dozen businesses together from Friday, Sept. 5 through Sunday, Sept. 7 for limited-time deals on a variety of merchandise, including summer clearance and back-to-school specials. More than 10 locations across the city will also be hosting live music throughout the weekend:

Each participating store will also have its own special QR code to guide shoppers along a scavenger hunt collection of check-ins. Those who scan the codes will be entered into a drawing for a $250 Summit VISA gift card and other prizes from downtown businesses. Scanning more codes increases your chance of going home with a giveaway.
