Widespread Power Outage Hits Summit Wednesday
The library was utilized as a resource center for those who needed a place to go.
UPDATE: According to a message sent out by the City at 11:25 a.m., power has been restored.
SUMMIT, NJ — The City of Summit said electricity is out "throughout the city" on Wednesday morning due to a JCP&L power failure.
An emergency response plan has been activated with officers out directing traffic.
