Yankees Games, Theme Parks Await Summit Youth In New Summer Camp

Each day brings a different trip.

SUMMIT, NJ — Yankees games, amusement parks, and more are in the future for Summit kids this summer.

The Department of Community Programs unveiled a new Travel Camp this year for children in grades 6 through 9.

The camp runs from Monday to Thursday from June 29 to Aug. 6 and costs $2,500.

Each day will bring a new trip that is fully supervised by department staff. Memorial Field will act as the pick-up and drop-off location for children on most days.

The dates for specific events are subject to change between now and March when I finalized schedule will be sent out.

Registration began on Jan. 3, and spots are limited.
