Bergen Man Told Wife He Would Burn Her Car With Her Inside: Cops
Wildemark A. Dangcil, 36, poured gasoline around the car with her inside and then poured it around her Hackensack home, authorities said.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A man was charged with attempted aggravated arson after authorities said he poured gasoline around his wife's car and told her he was going to burn her car with her in it.
Wildemar A. Dangcil, 36, was also charged with eluding, making terroristic threats, and contempt of a domestic violence restraining order, said Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella.
Hackensack police got a call Thursday from a woman stating that her ex-husband, Dangcil, poured gasoline around her home knowing she was inside, Musella said.

Police investigated and learned that Dangcil approached the woman while she was sitting in her vehicle in the driveway. Holding a red plastic gasoline container, Dangcil told his wife that he was going to burn her car with her in it, Musella said.
The woman got out of the vehicle and went inside her home, which is when Dangcil poured gasoline around the building, the prosecutor said.

Police got there before Dangcil lit the gasoline. They tried to stop him, but Dangcil fled in a vehicle, Musella said.
Dangcil's vehicle was found a little while later in a Little Ferry shopping center. Dangcil was found in Teterboro and arrested. He was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a detention hearing Monday, the prosecutor said.
