A brush fire near Teaneck High School forced officials to briefly close a stretch of Route 4 in Teaneck Tuesday afternoon.
The fire was reported around 1 p.m., leading township police to block the highway's eastbound lanes at Queen Anne Road. The Teaneck Fire Department had the flames out quickly and there were no injuries reported.
