A motorist trying to back out of a parking spot hit the wrong pedal and crashed into a Cedar Lane hair salon around 9 a.m. Wednesday, the salon's owner said. The car knocked down the door at Fifth Avenue Haircutters and caused minor damage to the building's exterior, according to the salon's owner, who declined to give his full name. "It sounded like a bomb almost hit," he said. "It shook me up a little bit." No injuries were reported. The store remained open after the accident.  It was unclear if any citations had been issued.  A police spokesman could not be immediately reached for comment.
