The film, “Crime After Crime” is a critically acclaimed documentary on the legal battle to free a supervisor of horrific abuse and forced prostitution from a California prison.  The film has received over 23 top honors, including the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award, and the National Board of Review’s “Freedom of Expression Award.” It has been acclaimed at many film festivals including the Teaneck Film Festival. This powerful film is about Debbie Peagler, a woman imprisoned for over a quarter century due to her involvement in the murder of the man who abused her, and her lawyer, Josuha Safran’s efforts for a new trial. For more information about the film, please visit crimeaftercrime.com and/or freefromabuse.org.

Hopefully, it will lead to a discussion dealing with abuse and efforts by the NJ legislature and the U.S. Congress to deal with the legal battles that ensure and how we can help in those efforts.
