A response from Teaneck firefighters prevented any major property damage during a fire at a Lucy Avenue garage Saturday afternoon, officials said.
The fire was reported by neighbors just before 4 p.m. and the first engine was on the scene in two minutes, the fire department reported. Crews found smoke coming from the attic window of the garage.
Two vehicles inside were removed without any damage, according to the report. There was limited access, slowing the work of fire crews.
