The following announcement was issued by the Teaneck School District:  The Bergen County Chapter of Mocha Moms, Inc., a national non-profit organization that supports at-home mothers of color, has raised over $1,000 toward the purchase of books that will be donated to the Thomas Jefferson Middle School. The books will be available to 5th and 6th graders during recess as part of the Teaneck Board of Education's initiative to encourage students to read. They will be presented by leaders of Mocha Moms to Principal Davis and students on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 1:30pm at Thomas Jefferson Middle School. The Teaneck Board of Education gratefully acknowledges this generous donation.
