Pantry, Delivery Service Team Up to Fight Hunger
Service offering free pick up for donated food.

A local food delivery service is joining with the Teaneck Helping Hands Food Pantry to combat hunger by offering to pick up food donations from around the area.
, will pick up donated food from Teaneck-area towns over six weeks. The donations will be brought to the pantry for free from central locations and private homes.
“The Helping Hands Food Pantry does so much good for our community, and LimoCuisine wants to do all we can to help this charity thrive. With such a high level of need in the community, it is more important than ever to contribute to this initiative,” Loffman said in a news release.

Delivery drivers are donating their time to the cause, the release said. Food must be non-perishable, unopened and before the expiration date.
LimoCuisine, started in March, offers food deliveries from local restaurants through its website. Customers can schedule orders and order from more than one restaurant.

The Teaneck pantry is to help bring food to those who can't make it to the West Englewood Avenue location.
