Tangled Wire Leads to Brief Outage Impacting 1200 in Teaneck, Bergenfield
All service restored Thursday night, utility company says.

Utility company repairs on a tangled electric line temporarily caused a power outage in sections of Teaneck and Bergenfield Thursday night.
At 9:18 p.m. Public Service Electric and Gas learned of a tangled utility line at Robinson Street and Madison Avenue in Teaneck, said company spokeswoman Nancy Tucker. Crews had to shut down electricity to work on the line.
Power was out for eight minutes to 1,200 customers in Teaneck and Bergenfield, Tucker said Thursday night. In Teaneck, residents reported outages near Country Club Drive, Teaneck Road and Cedar Lane.
