Electricity in the Englewood-area has been restored after 8,000 customers lost power this morning, according to Public Service Electric and Gas.  Widespread outages were reported in <a href="https://teaneck.patch.com/topics/Englewood" rel="nofollow">Englewood</a>, <a href="https://fortlee.patch.com" rel="nofollow">Fort Lee</a> and the southern end of Tenafly. Smaller outages were reported in <a href="https://teaneck.patch.com" rel="nofollow">Teaneck</a> and <a href="https://teaneck.patch.com/topics/Bergenfield" rel="nofollow">Bergenfield</a>. PSE&amp;G spokeswoman Annette Hicks said service was restored around 8:30 a.m. after weather-related outages.  Scattered outages are possible in the area, Hicks said.  Route 4 in Englewood was closed earlier today after reports of a downed wire. The highway has since been reopened.
