A motorist and his passenger escaped serious injury when the car they were in hit a parked car and rolled over on Morningside Terrace late Sunday, police said. The impact sent the parked car onto a nearby front yard, according to authorities and area residents at the scene. Both the driver and passenger, who were not immediately identified, were walking around after the crash around 10:30 p.m. The Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps transported the driver to and the passenger declined medical attention.
