Section of Queen Anne Road Closed After Report of Gas Line Struck
Utility crews, firefighters called to the scene.

Police closed Queen Anne Road, between West Forest Avenue and Dewey Place, while crews investigated a report of a broken gas line around 1 p.m. Thursday.
Public Service Electric and Gas company crews were responding, a utility company spokeswoman said. Additional details were not immediately available.
The Teaneck Fire Department was dispatched, but has since cleared the scene.

A section of Queen Anne Road was closed earlier Thursday for work, but it was not yet clear if it was related to the reported broken line.
A PSEG spokeswoman did not respond to a request for more information Thursday afternoon. The roadway was later reopened.
