Teaneck Coach Engaged In 'Sexual Acts' With Students: Prosecutor

TEANECK, NJ — A Teaneck High School basketball coach was arrested after authorities said he engaged in "sexual acts" with two teenagers, said acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo.

Marcelle Williams, 36, of Teaneck was charged with criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child, Calo said.

The Teaneck Police Department received a report Monday that Williams engaged in sexual acts with two teenagers between 16 and 18 years old since November, Calo said.

Police officers and the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit investigated and arrested Williams Monday, Calo said.

Williams was lodged at the Bergen County Jail pending his first court appearance Tuesday.
