Teaneck Community Charter School Kicks Off Raffle

The following announcement was submitted by the Teaneck Community Charter School: 

The Teaneck Community Charter School (“TCCS”) is kicking off a $10,000 Raffle in support of its campaign to complete its Creative Arts Suite. Coming off the heels of the school’s successful NBC Smash Make a Musical Grant, the school’s parent organization is making a push for completion of its arts suite, in order to improve upon its art program and provide much needed space to the community.      

The Raffle will run from March 7, 2013 to May 9, 2013.  Tickets may be purchased online at www.tccsnj.org by clicking the link marked TCCS Mega Raffle.  Tickets may also be purchased at the school Monday through Friday during school hours (8:30 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.).  The winner will received a $10,000 gift certificate from TD Bank.  The winning name will be drawn at the school’s Annual Dinner Dance, to be held May 9^th at the Colonial Inn, 545 Old Tappan Road, Norwood, NJ 07648.  Attendance to the dinner dance is not required to win. 

The Teaneck Community Charter School, now in its 15th year, is a progressive education program implementing a constructivist approach to learning that emphasizes parent involvement, child-centered instruction, expeditionary learning and a non-traditional curriculum for 306 students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.
