Teaneck Man Accused of Sexual Assault

Michael T. Mager is accused of sexual assault and child endangerment for his alleged relationship with a 15-year-old girl.

A 32-year-old township man was arrested Monday at his Cane Street home on sexual assault and child endangerment charges for allegedly having sexual relations with a 15-year-old female acquaintance, prosecutors said.

Michael T. Mager, a maintenance worker for the Garfield Housing Authority, was arrested after authorities learned he had allegedly engaged in "inappropriate sexual activities" with the 15-year-old female, said Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli in a statement.

Mager was charged with one count of second degree sexual assault and one count of third degree child endangerment. He was being held on $100,000 bail at the Bergen County Jail as of Tuesday afternoon, Molinelli said.
