To Our Valuable Teaneck Residents:
I know that these are uncertain times and you are being bombarded with a lot of information and possible misinformation. My council colleagues, the Mayor, the Township Manager, Health, Police, Fire, DPW and other departments have been diligently working on disseminating timely information and access to resources that we hope are helpful and beneficial during these trying times.
If you should have any questions you can email me: katz07666@gmail.com
or TEXT me 24/7 at (201) 715-5179 (TEXT only please).
I will do my best to be responsive and careful to address any concerns that you may have so that we can get through this together as a community.
Please remember to be a good neighbor and check in on our senior population and others who may need assistance. Teaneck will be implementing some very drastic measures in the next 24 hours to encourage and ensure that our residents are "self quarantining". Out of 31 cases in Bergen County, 18 are reported from Teaneck. Our Municipal Building will not be open to the public, parks, playgrounds, basketball & tennis courts will be closed, restaurants are being asked to limit to "take out/delivery only, shopping in Teaneck should be done by one person from your family, Township ordinance parking restrictions lifted and there will be other measures that will be put in place on Sunday morning.
Please take this very seriously, but do not panic. We want to protect you and every Teaneck resident.
Please stay safe and please continue to practice "Social Distancing".
