Suspect released from prison months before Tenafly cognac thefts, records show.

Tenafly police are searching for a Paterson man they say pilfered nearly $5,000 worth of alcohol from a borough liquor store.
Police had security camera footage of the thefts and identified the suspect as 52-year-old Randy Reed after getting a tip from Teaneck police, who were familiar with him, NJ.com reported.
Reed allegedly stole two bottles of Louis XIII cognac worth about $2,200 each from Tenafly's Fine Spirits Liquor Store, according to the report. Police said he also stole two bottles of wine worth approximately $436.
