Teaneck To Raise Pride Flag: Report
The township council passed a resolution Tuesday evening to fly the flag, which has a tentative raise date of Oct. 6, according to a report.
TEANECK, NJ - A rainbow pride flag will be raised next month in Teaneck’s Votee Park, according to a report.
The township council passed a resolution Tuesday evening to fly the flag, which has a tentative raise date of Oct. 6 and will be flown for a week, Northjersey.com reported.
Though residents urged the council to fly the rainbow flag in June to mark Pride Month, officials held off in order to draft guidelines to protect the township from other groups seeking to raise flags, the paper reported.
