Teaneck’s Maya Lawrence, U.S. Fencing Team Take Bronze

The local Olympian and her teammates beat Russia in a close match.

Teaneck and her teammates on the U.S. Olympic fencing team grabbed their first bronze medal at the London games.

The Associated Press reports the American team beat Russia, 31-30. Lawrence was 1-1 in the medal match.
