The annual Dance Ensemble concert is their “once a year” opportunity to showcase not only their progress and skills but most importantly, their creativity.
The majority of the works which will be performed the evenings of May 11 and May 12 are actually choreographed by the students themselves. Both shows are at 8 p.m.

Ideas germinate in the fall and sprout during the semester with rehearsals in the school’s dance studio or sometimes in their own living rooms on the weekend. Under the coaching and guidance of Dance Ensemble’s Director, Diana Baer, the ideas blossom into artistic expressions that will delight you.
This experience is what makes Dance Ensemble truly unique and the indispensable ingredient to understanding and appreciating dance as a performing art. So this Mother’s Day weekend, help cultivate this perennial garden and let the secret out.
