Time Magazine Chronicles Teaneck Paramedic’s Coronavirus Response
The magazine's feature takes a look inside one paramedic's life on the front lines of the fight against the new coronavirus.
TEANECK, NJ — One Teaneck paramedic on the front lines of the coronavirus response was featured in Time Magazine this week after using his camera to chronicle the experiences of medical workers in Teaneck, the epicenter of New Jersey's outbreak.
The paramedic, Danny Kim, told the magazine he worked as a photographer before becoming an EMT and, later, a paramedic.

As of Thursday afternoon, Bergen County had 8,343 positive tests for COVID-19 and 345 deaths. The county no longer reports cases by individual municipality, but as of April 6, the last update provided by the county, Teaneck had 540 cases of the virus. That number is likely higher as of Thursday.
