Crashes Cleared, 2 Main Roads Reopened In Toms River, Sheriff's Office Says
The crashes happened as roads become more icy following Sunday's snowstorm.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — A pair of crashes late Sunday afternoon prompted closures for about an hour on two main roads in Toms River, according to the Ocean County Sheriff's Office.
Hooper Avenue southbound was closed from Yorktowne Boulevard to Church Road, the sheriff's office said.
A short time later, Fischer Boulevard was closed northbound in the area of Water's Edge because of a crash.

Both were cleared and reopened as of about 6 p.m., the sheriff's office said in an update.
No details on either crash were immediately available on Sunday.
