Death Investigation Ongoing In Beachwood

BEACHWOOD, NJ — A death at a Beachwood home remained under investigation on Monday, a day after the death was reported.

Beachwood police on Sunday said the department was conducting "an active and ongoing death investigation" on the 400 block of Forepeak Avenue.

"While details remain limited due to the fluid nature of the investigation, we want to reassure the public that there is no threat to the public at this time," police said Sunday.

No details have been released about the person as of Monday morning. The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office referred inquiries to the Beachwood Police Department. A message to Beachwood police was not immediately answered.
