Downed Tree On Rt. 166 In Toms River Closes Lanes Friday

TOMS RIVER, NJ - A downed tree on Route 166 in Toms River has prompted commuting delays in the area Friday morning, authorities said.

As of 7:13 a.m., there’s a downed tree on Route 166 southbound at south of CR 8/Dayton Avenue in Toms River, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

All lanes are currently closed and detoured, the agency said.
