NJ Devils Bringing Hockey Clinic For Beginners To Toms River
The 8-week Learn to Play clinic for 5- to 9-year-olds is a partnership of the NJ Devils and Toms River Hockey Club. Registration ends soon.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — Youngsters who have never played ice hockey are invited to join a clinic that will be hosted at the Winding River Skating Center beginning Jan. 5.
The eight-week Learn to Play clinic is a partnership between the New Jersey Devils and the Toms River Hockey Club.
The Devils will run the clinic, for children ages 5 to 9, at 6 p.m. on Mondays through February at Winding River Skating Center, 1211 Whitesville Road, Toms River.

Registration is $285 for the eight-week clinic and the Devils will be offering a full set of hockey equipment for new players, including helmet and skates, according to Harry McDermott, president of the Toms River Hockey Club.
Registration is available online. It closes Tuesday, Jan. 29.
