TOMS RIVER, NJ — Toms River families are invited to an Easter Egg hunt and festivities on Saturday, April 12 at Castle Park.

The event at the park, on the corner of Oak Avenue and North Bay Avenue, begins at 9 a.m.

Families should bring baskets for the children to collect eggs; there will be 20,000 eggs split among three fields, according to the Toms River Recreation Department.

Children up to 5 years old will be on Field A, and those ages 6 to 10 will be on Field B. There also will be a field set aside for children who have sensory issues, the recreation department said.

There also will be a special delivery during the event by the Toms River fire department, officials said.

There will be additional parking available at Bey Lea Golf Course, at the Toms River Police Department, and at the Toms River Youth Services building on North Bay Avenue.
