Fall Leaf Collection Schedule 2024 Set In Toms River
If you're working on your fall yard clean-up, make note of the dates Toms River will pick them up.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Toms River residents who have begun cleaning up their yards for the fall can mark their calendars: the township's leaf collection schedule is available.
Toms River's public works department will begin collecting bagged leaves the week of Oct. 28, and there will be two collection weeks assigned to each recycling day.
The town now is accepting the compostable brown paper bags for curbside leaf collection. The bags can be purchased at several hardware stores in Toms River.

The collection weeks are as follows:
- For residents whose recycling day is Monday, the collection weeks begin Oct. 28 and Nov. 25.
- For the Tuesday recycling day, the collection weeks are Oct. 28 and Dec. 2.
- For the Wednesday recycling day, the collections weeks are Nov. 4 and Dec. 9.
- For those with recycling collection on Thursday, leaf collections will be Nov. 11 and Dec. 16.
Bags should not contain branches or trimmings of shrubs and trees. They can be taken to Toms River's recycling convenience center at 1672 Church Road.

Bagged leaves should be at the curb by 6:30 a.m. at the beginning of the collection week.
