Man Stabbed, Woman Threatened In Ocean County; Suspect Charged With Stalking
The man charged in the stabbing went to a home to confront the couple and an argument ensued, authorities said.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — A Toms River man is accused of stabbing and critically injuring a man after showing up at an Ortley Beach home on Thursday to confront the victim and a woman, authorities said.
Patrick A. Robertelli, 57, has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, harassment, and stalking, Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
Authorities said Robertelli showed up at the home around 10:45 p.m. Thursday and a fight ensued, resulting in Robertelli stabbing the victim several times.

The victim, a 52-year-old man, was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune where he is listed in critical but stable condition, the prosecutor's office said.
Investigators also learned Robertelli had sent multiple threatening text messages to the woman, authorities said.

Robertelli was arrested at the scene and is being held at the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
