Tacos, tequila, burritos, margaritas and more are on the menu, according to the restaurant website.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — A Mexican restaurant is set to fill the spot once home to Charlie Brown's in Toms River, according to a report.

Sofia's Taqueria is anticipated to open in December in the former steakhouse site in the Silverton section of Toms River, the Asbury Park Press reported.

The restaurant, which has four locations on Staten Island and one in Old Bridge, bills itself as a taco and tequila bar.

The menu includes empanadas, burritos, fajitas, salads and more for dinner, along with an expansive drink menu with Mexican beers in addition to tequila and margaritas.

The restaurant is going into the site that has been Charlie Brown's for a number of years. It also had more recently been operated as Roxy's Bar and Grille, which shut down earlier this year.
