(Island Heights, NJ) Sponsored by Surf Taco; Curchin; Ferguson Bath, Kitchen, and Lighting Gallery; New Jersey Natural Gas; and NorthEast Spine and Sports Medicine, the Thomas Edison Film Festival returns to the Ocean County Artist Guild, 22 Chestnut Ave., Island Heights, NJ on Saturday July 15th at 6:00 pm. The program will be presented by TEFF Director, Jane Steuerwald. There is ample parking, and the Guild is ADA accessible. There is a $10 entry fee, payable at the door. Reserve your seat for this program.

Award-winning selected shorts from Austria, Canada, Puerto Rico, South Korea, Switzerland, the UK, and the US representing animation, documentary, experimental, narrative and screen dance genres will be screened with a focus on fine and performing arts.

Since 1981, the mission of the Thomas Edison Film Festival (TEFF) has been to promote innovation in the art of the moving image, and the films that are the centerpiece of the festival honor Edison’s vision. The festival’s relationship to Thomas Edison’s invention of the motion picture camera and the kinetoscope and his experimentation with the short film is an essential part of our mission. Shorts are the essence of the festival - not a sidebar to feature films. TEFF is a socially conscious, modern, fiercely independent traveling showcase reaching out to diverse audiences with provocative, timely, edgy and compelling new works by both accomplished and emerging filmmakers.
