Toms River Residents Indicted on Heroin-Related Charges
Four local residents indicted in drug case

An Ocean County Grand Jury has returned an indictment against Johnathan McDonald, 25, of Toms River, charging him with third-degree possession of heroin, third-degree possession of heroin with the intent to distribute in a quantity of less than one-half ounce, and third-degree distribution of a heroin in a quantity of a less than one-half ounce, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office announced Wednesday.
Erika Engedal, 21, of Toms River; Guglielmo Ferrigno, 45, of Toms River; and Luigi Guardascione, 48, of Island Heights, were also charged with third-degree possession of heroin.
The investigation was conducted by the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office Special Operations Group.
